Dr. Robert Friedman

Dr. Robert Friedman is a board-certified ophthalmologist with expertise in the medical and surgical treatment of retinal conditions, including retinal detachments, macular holes, macular puckers, and diabetic retinopathy. He also specializes in cataract surgery, where he has pioneered techniques to improve patient outcomes.

Dr. Friedman completed his residency in ophthalmology at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he served as chief resident, followed by a fellowship in diseases of the retina at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.
