About Me
Dr. Richard G. Orlando is an ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and implantable lenses. He has extensive experience in small incision cataract surgery and utilizes advanced intraocular lenses (IOLs) such as Symfony, Crystalens, and Toric IOLs to help patients achieve improved vision.
Dr. Orlando earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University in 1979 and completed his residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center in 1983. He founded Columbus Ophthalmology Associates in Dublin, Ohio, the same year. Board certified in ophthalmology, he has also participated in FDA clinical studies and authored scientific articles and educational materials.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Orlando is involved in charitable efforts through his paintings, with proceeds benefiting organizations such as Nationwide Children’s Hospital and local families.
