Dr. Jing Sun is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with Columbus Ophthalmology Associates. She provides full-scope medical and surgical eye care, including evaluation and treatment of cataracts, refractive errors, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and uveitis. Patients describe her as thoughtful and collaborative, and she strives to ensure that each person feels like an active partner in decision-making about their vision. Dr. Sun completed her undergraduate studies in molecular and cellular biology at Vanderbilt University and earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She went on to ophthalmology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, where she was elected chief resident. Her training exposed her to a diverse patient population and a wide range of eye conditions, preparing her to care for individuals from all walks of life. Outside of medicine, she enjoys exploring Columbus with her family and spending time in local art studios.
