About Me
Dr. Rebecca Kuennen is an ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and external diseases, cataract and refractive surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Director of Cornea and External Disease. Her practice focuses on a wide range of conditions affecting the cornea and external eye, including Fuchs' endothelial dystrophy, keratoconus, ocular tumors, and graft versus host disease.
Dr. Kuennen is dedicated to improving patients' quality of life through medical and surgical therapies. She finds fulfillment in helping those in need and takes time to educate medical students and resident physicians. Beyond her clinical work, she has participated in medical mission trips to Nicaragua and Ghana, providing vision screenings, corneal transplants, and cataract surgery to underserved communities.
