Dr. Rana Torabi

Dr. Shiraaz Rahman is an ophthalmologist and cataract and glaucoma surgeon with John-Kenyon Eye Centers in the Louisville, Kentucky area. He offers comprehensive surgical care for cataracts and glaucoma, including experience with minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) as well as traditional glaucoma procedures, with a focus on protecting vision over the long term. Dr. Rahman completed advanced fellowship training in glaucoma surgery at Harvard University’s Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. He earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, completed an internship at St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis, and went on to ophthalmology residency and fellowship training at Washington University.
