Dr. Aurabind Balagani

Dr. Aurabind Balagani is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive eye care in Dyer, Indiana. He earned his bachelor's degree in biology from Northwestern University and his medical degree from Midwestern University's Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. His training includes an ophthalmology internship and residency at Midwestern University, followed by a glaucoma fellowship at Ochsner Medical Center.

Dr. Balagani specializes in advanced cataract surgery using no-stitch, no-patch techniques with phacoemulsification and foldable intraocular lenses. He has extensive expertise in glaucoma management, performing laser procedures, trabeculectomy surgery, and implanting glaucoma drainage devices. He is certified in the Trabectome and Glaukos i Stent procedures, being among the first in Northwest Indiana to offer these innovative treatments for glaucoma patients.
