About Me
Dr. Ramin Daneshvar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida, specializing in glaucoma. As a clinician, he sees and treats many patients daily, focusing on preventing vision loss through early diagnosis, individualized medical therapy, laser treatment, and surgery when needed. He is also a dedicated teacher and mentor, guiding students and residents in managing chronic eye diseases.
Inspired by a childhood experience, Dr. Daneshvar is committed to helping those with eye diseases, particularly glaucoma. He emphasizes building trustful, long-term relationships with his patients, working together to slow or halt disease progression. He believes that with careful follow-up and utilizing different treatment options, visual impairment and blindness can be prevented in almost all glaucoma patients.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Daneshvar enjoys spending time with his family and pursues hobbies such as data science, programming, DIY projects, walking, running, and swimming.
