Dr. Priyanka Kanakamedala

Dr. Erik Kulenkamp is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who evaluates and treats a wide range of eye conditions for adults. His clinical work includes medical and surgical care for cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, age-related macular degeneration, dry eye syndrome and refractive problems. He has a particular interest in the management of complex cataracts and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), tailoring surgical plans to each patient’s vision goals and lifestyle. His care philosophy is patient-centered and personal—he strives to deliver state-of-the-art care while making every visit feel respectful and unrushed. Dr. Kulenkamp completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Minnesota after earning his medical degree at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He values collaboration with primary care and optometry colleagues and emphasizes clear explanations, shared decision-making and practical follow-up so patients feel supported before and after treatment.

Andrew Clingerman, MD, MPH, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at the Mankato Clinic Eye Care Center. He cares for adults and seniors with common and complex eye conditions, with special interest in glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts and diabetic eye disease. Patients appreciate his clear explanations, comfortable pace and focus on shared decision-making. Dr. Clingerman offers routine and medical eye exams and coordinates in-office laser procedures when appropriate, working closely with the clinic’s optometry and surgical teams to streamline each step of care. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Clingerman earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Louisville. He also holds a Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, and an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Pacific Lutheran University. He uses modern diagnostics to personalize treatment plans and partners with patients to protect vision over the long term.

Dr. Tanya Glaser is a board-certified, fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist who cares for infants, children, and teens with both routine and complex eye needs. As a parent herself, she aims to make visits informative, reassuring, and even fun—so families leave with a clear plan for protecting vision and supporting healthy development. Her clinical interests include pediatric eye exams, amblyopia, childhood nystagmus, and eye alignment disorders such as strabismus. She offers medical care for pediatric eye disease and performs eye alignment surgery; for select patients, she also uses botulinum toxin as a treatment option. Dr. Glaser earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco and completed internship, ophthalmology residency (including chief resident roles), and a pediatric ophthalmology fellowship at Duke University. She previously served as an assistant professor in Duke’s Division of Pediatric Ophthalmology.
