Dr. Priyal Shah

Dr. Priyal Shah is an ophthalmologist at Loma Linda University Health who provides comprehensive care with a focus on diseases of the macula and retina. She strives to make visits comfortable and collaborative, explaining imaging and treatment choices in plain language and crafting a plan that fits each patient’s goals and daily life.

Her interests include surgical and office-based care for retinal conditions such as retinal detachments, epiretinal membranes, macular holes, and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Shah earned her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, completed ophthalmology residency at Geisinger Medical Center, and pursued dedicated medical retina training at Loma Linda University Health. She welcomes patients from diverse backgrounds and speaks English and Gujarati.
