About Me
Dr. Pauline Dmitriev is a cornea, external disease, and refractive surgeon at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center. She evaluates and treats cataracts and a broad range of corneal and ocular-surface disorders, and offers surgical and non-surgical options tailored to each patient’s needs. Her goal is to combine advanced techniques with thoughtful counseling so patients understand their choices and feel confident in their care plan.
Dr. Dmitriev earned her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, completed ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, and advanced fellowship training in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at Michigan Medicine. She is involved in research on corneal transplantation, eye banking, and global ophthalmology, and is dedicated to teaching and collaborative, evidence-based care.
