Dr. Paul J. Bryar, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Northwestern Medicine. He serves as a Professor at the Feinberg School of Medicine and sees patients at the Northwestern Medicine Department of Ophthalmology in Chicago.

Dr. Bryar has a particular interest in LASIK and PRK surgery and provides comprehensive eye care for a wide range of conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye, and corneal disorders. He also treats conditions such as epiretinal membranes, Graves’ disease, and lattice degeneration.

Trained at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine, Dr. Bryar completed an internship and residency at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University and a fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
