About Me
Dr. Alcina Lidder is an ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical management of cataracts and glaucoma. Her clinical expertise includes cataract surgery, cataract implant surgery, and a range of glaucoma procedures such as glaucoma filtration surgery, laser treatment, tube shunt surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. Dr. Lidder provides care for patients with cataracts and glaucoma, focusing on personalized treatment plans to preserve and improve vision.
Dr. Lidder completed her medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, followed by an internship with the Prime Midwest GME Consortium. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and a fellowship at the University of Miami/Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and serves as an Assistant Professor at the Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Lidder is part of the Northwestern Medical Group and sees patients at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
