Dr. Anjum Koreishi

Dr. David Phillips is a board-certified ophthalmologist with the Quincy Medical Group Eye & Vision Institute who cares for patients of all ages. He provides comprehensive eye care with an emphasis on protecting and restoring vision through both medical and surgical treatment. After earning his M.D. from the University of Missouri–Columbia School of Medicine in 2012, he completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and pursued fellowship training in glaucoma at the University of Utah. His clinical expertise includes cataract surgery, glaucoma care, intravitreal injections, and management of retinal conditions, along with select eyelid procedures. Dr. Phillips aims to make visits straightforward and informative, so patients understand their diagnosis and next steps. He enjoys traveling, hunting, fly fishing, and reading outside of work.

Dr. Randy C. Bowen is an ocular oncologist and vitreoretinal surgeon at Northwestern Medicine who treats eye cancers and complex retinal disease. His practice includes diagnosis and management of uveal melanoma and other intraocular tumors, as well as surgical care for conditions such as retinal detachment and macular holes. He integrates advanced modalities—including plaque brachytherapy and proton therapy—into personalized treatment plans, coordinating closely with oncology and radiation teams when needed. Dr. Bowen earned his medical degree at the University of Utah, completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Wisconsin, and pursued fellowships at the Cleveland Clinic and the University of Iowa. As a faculty member at the Feinberg School of Medicine, he is committed to compassionate, clear communication and evidence-based care that supports patients through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

Dr. Hong-Gam Le is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained retina specialist at the Retina Institute of Illinois. She evaluates and treats the full spectrum of medical and surgical retinal disease, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, epiretinal membrane, macular hole, retinal tears and detachments, retinal vascular occlusions, uveitis, and complications after cataract surgery. Care plans may include intravitreal injections, laser photocoagulation, cryotherapy, and advanced vitrectomy techniques tailored to each case. Dr. Le is fluent in English and Vietnamese. Dr. Le studied Neurobiology at Harvard University, graduating with honors, and earned her MD with Distinction in Research from the University of Michigan Medical School. She completed ophthalmology residency at Northwestern University and a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the University of Utah’s Moran Eye Center. Affiliated with leading health systems across Chicagoland, she works closely with referring optometrists and surgeons to ensure timely, coordinated care. Patients value her clear communication, evidence-based recommendations, and calm, compassionate manner.
