Dr. Paul B. Griggs is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical management of retinal and vitreous disorders. His clinical expertise includes age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, inherited retinal disease, and uveitis. He also has extensive experience treating conditions such as macular holes, epiretinal membranes, and vitreous floaters.

Dr. Griggs brings a wealth of experience to his patients, having directed the Vitreoretinal Service at Virginia Mason Medical Center for 22 years before joining Pacific Northwest Retina in November 2025. He actively participates in clinical trials and collaborates with industry leaders on developing new treatments for retinal disorders.
