Dr. Patrick Barker

Dr. Patrick Barker is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Beach Eye Care, where he provides comprehensive eye care including cataract surgery, LASIK, SMILE, and ICL surgery, as well as the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. He has been practicing since 2014 and joined the practice in 2022.

Dr. Barker brings extensive experience from his military medical career. He completed his undergraduate studies at the U.S. Naval Academy, earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, and finished his ophthalmology residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He previously served as Director of Refractive Surgery at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and Department Head at US Naval Hospital Guam.
