Dr. Edgar Levine

Dr. Edgar Levine is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Beach Eye Care, where he serves as Director of Cataract Services. With over thirty years of experience, he provides comprehensive ophthalmologic care with a focus on advanced cataract surgery, LASIK, and EVO ICL. Dr. Levine joined Beach Eye Care in 2016 after a distinguished 27-year career in the U.S. Navy, where he served as Department Head of Ophthalmology and Founding Director of the Laser Refractive Surgery Center at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center. He completed his medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, followed by an internship in internal medicine and residency in ophthalmology at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego.

Dr. Levine specializes in anterior segment surgery and laser vision correction. His practice encompasses comprehensive eye exams, cataract surgery, LASIK, EVO ICL, and other advanced procedures to address a range of vision conditions. He is dedicated to providing personalized care to help patients achieve optimal vision outcomes.
