Dr. Parvathy Pillai

Dr. Parvathy Pillai is a board-certified ophthalmologist with extensive experience caring for patients in Maryland. She completed her undergraduate and medical education at the University of Miami through the prestigious Honors Program in Medical Education.

Dr. Pillai specializes in the medical management of uveitis and provides comprehensive ophthalmology services, including glaucoma evaluations and diabetic eye exams. She performs routine and complex cataract surgeries as well as minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and laser procedures. She has been a faculty member of the Krieger Eye Institute since 2013, where she previously served as associate Program Director of the Residency and is a multi-time recipient of the Resident Teaching Award.
