About Me
Dr. Osamah Saeedi is a glaucoma specialist and ophthalmologist at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and then pursued advanced fellowship training in glaucoma at the Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins University. He also holds a Master of Science in Epidemiology and Clinical Research, which informs his approach to patient care and research.
Dr. Saeedi's clinical practice is dedicated to the diagnosis and management of glaucoma, including complex cases. His expertise includes the use of advanced imaging techniques to assess ocular blood flow and develop biomarkers for early detection of glaucoma, which can help prevent vision loss. He is experienced in various glaucoma treatments, including medications, laser therapy, and surgical interventions such as trabeculectomy.
