About Me
Dr. Nicole C. Beharry is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Novus Clinic in Tallmadge, Ohio, specializing in diseases of the retina and vitreous. She provides comprehensive retinal care, utilizing the latest advancements to treat conditions such as age-related macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Beharry is committed to delivering personalized, high-quality care to each of her patients.
After graduating with honors from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Dr. Beharry earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. She then completed a transitional-year residency at Crozer Chester Medical Center, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Geisinger Medical Center where she served as chief resident. Her training culminated in a two-year fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery and ocular trauma with Retina Specialists of Ohio and Akron General Medical Center.
Dr. Beharry is particularly interested in employing the newest FDA-approved treatments for age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. She stays at the forefront of retinal care through her involvement with professional societies, including the American Society of Retina Specialists and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
