Dr. Paul Garfinkle

Dr. Paul Garfinkle is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Ohio Eye Alliance who believes that prevention and total body health are essential to preserving vision. He emphasizes the importance of routine eye care, especially for patients with systemic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Garfinkle treats age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, vein occlusions, and cataracts, offering both medical and surgical management.

Dr. Garfinkle brings extensive experience in small incision cataract surgery and medical retina care. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. He joined Ohio Eye Alliance in 1999 and has served in leadership roles at Alliance Community Hospital, including as president of the medical staff and chair of the surgery department.
