About Me
Dr. Nga Yan Siu is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in glaucoma and provides comprehensive eye care. She sees patients for routine eye exams and glaucoma evaluations, offering cataract surgery and a full range of glaucoma procedures including microinvasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), trabeculectomy, and tube shunt implantation. Her care philosophy emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered visits with clear education to help patients make informed decisions about their eye health.
Dr. Siu completed her undergraduate education at William Smith College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Health Professions. She attended medical school at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she was elected to the Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society and participated in the Academic Medicine Scholars Program, teaching medical students, performing research, and earning a Master of Science degree. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital and the One Brooklyn Health system, followed by a glaucoma fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.
Dr. Siu is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care with a focus on patient education. She strives to help her patients achieve long-term vision preservation, particularly those with glaucoma. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor and welcomes patients in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
