About Me
Dr. Nazlee Zebardast is a glaucoma specialist and clinician-scientist who cares for adults with glaucoma and related vision-threatening conditions. Her clinical work includes treatment for glaucoma and patients with combined glaucoma and cataracts, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) when appropriate. She also serves as Director of Glaucoma Imaging, reflecting a focus on careful evaluation and monitoring to guide treatment decisions.
Dr. Zebardast’s research interests include epidemiology, glaucoma imaging, and anterior segment imaging, and she has studied angle-closure glaucoma risk and screening. Her education and training include undergraduate and graduate study at the University of Toronto, medical school at Yale School of Medicine, ophthalmology residency at The Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and glaucoma fellowship training at The Wilmer Eye Institute. She combines advanced clinical training with research insight to support personalized glaucoma care and long-term vision preservation.
