About Me
Dr. Nathan D. Farley is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist with Associated Retinal Consultants, caring for patients across northern Michigan. He specializes in vitreoretinal diseases and provides evaluation and treatment for conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, macular holes, retinal tears, retinal vein occlusion, and retinal detachment.
He earned a B.S. in Preprofessional Studies, summa cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and received his medical degree with High Distinction from Wayne State University. Dr. Farley completed ophthalmology residency training at Henry Ford Health System, serving as Chief Resident, and then completed a vitreoretinal fellowship with Associated Retinal Consultants. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists, and he has participated in clinical research and peer-reviewed publications. In the clinic, he focuses on clear explanations so patients understand their diagnosis and options for care.
