About Me

Dr. Michele Lee is a cornea, cataract, and refractive surgeon who specializes in medical and surgical care of the anterior segment. Inspired by her own experience with a vision-threatening corneal ulcer, she brings empathy and precision to every patient encounter and enjoys guiding people through clear, step-by-step treatment plans.

Dr. Lee graduated cum laude from Harvard University and earned her MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed an internship at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s–Roosevelt, ophthalmology residency at Stanford University, and fellowship in medical and surgical cornea, refractive surgery, and external diseases at UCSF and the Francis I. Proctor Foundation. A board-certified ophthalmologist and Heed Fellow, she has received recognition including the ASCRS Resident Excellence Award and has authored peer-reviewed publications, articles, and book chapters. Dr. Lee enjoys caring for patients across the spectrum—from complex corneal disease to vision correction—so they can return to the activities they love.
