About Me
Dr. Michael Weisberg is an ophthalmologist who has been living and practicing in the Chicagoland area since 2010. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery.
Dr. Weisberg specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the cornea and external eye, including corneal infections, contact lens-related issues, dry eye, recurrent corneal erosions, conjunctivitis (pink eye), pinguecula, allergies, and blepharitis. He also performs cataract surgery utilizing advanced intraocular lens implants and provides medical glaucoma care.
He completed his undergraduate degree at Brown University and earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. His ophthalmology residency was completed at the Columbia University Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute, followed by subspecialty training in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago.
