Dr. David Lubeck

Dr. David Lubeck is a practicing surgeon at Arbor Centers for EyeCare, specializing in cataract, cornea, and refractive surgery. He has been practicing in the Chicago area since 1989 and serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Dr. Lubeck is dedicated to teaching cataract and refractive surgery to ophthalmologists worldwide, focusing on new technologies and safe, efficient surgical techniques.

Dr. Lubeck specializes in managing conditions affecting the front segment of the eye. He treats corneal diseases, cataracts (including complex cases), tear dysfunction, refractive abnormalities, eye infections, certain ocular cancers, injuries, and congenital malformations. He employs the latest medical, laser, and surgical treatments to restore and preserve vision. His particular interests include advanced technology lens implants, laser refractive cataract surgery, partial thickness corneal transplants, and all-laser vision correction.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lubeck is an active educator and innovator. He has developed surgical teaching curricula integrated into programs across the United States and abroad, and has hosted live surgery broadcasts to train thousands of surgeons globally.
