About Me
Dr. Teske is an emeritus clinical professor in the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences at the University of Utah School of Medicine who specializes in the medical and surgical management of diseases affecting the retina and vitreous. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Teske completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame and earned his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. He then completed an internship and residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in retinal diseases at the Kresge Eye Institute at Wayne State University. His clinical expertise includes conditions such as retinal detachment, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, vitreous hemorrhage, retinitis pigmentosa, submacular hemorrhage, macular hole, and epiretinal membrane.
