Dr. Michael Lloyd

Dr. Michael Lloyd is a board-certified ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist providing expert medical and surgical eye care in Provo, Utah. He is committed to compassionate care, superior patient satisfaction, and excellence in the management of glaucoma. Dr. Lloyd completed his ophthalmology residency and a glaucoma fellowship at the Casey Eye Institute in Portland, Oregon, and furthered his training with a prestigious research and clinical glaucoma fellowship at the Dever’s Eye Institute, also in Portland.

Dr. Lloyd is an active member of the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society. He regularly evaluates new advances in glaucoma research, keeping current with the latest developments in diagnosis and therapy. His clinical practice focuses on the medical and surgical management of various forms of glaucoma, including juvenile, primary open angle, normal tension, traumatic, neovascular, and uveitic glaucoma. He also performs cataract surgery and treats diabetic eye disease and ocular trauma.

With a dedication to patient-centered care, Dr. Lloyd has trained and supervised residents, published his findings in medical literature, and consulted on hundreds of challenging glaucoma cases. He is recognized by his fellow physicians for his compassionate and personal approach to patient care.
