Dr. Michael Clune

Dr. Michael Clune is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who has served the Detroit metropolitan community for over 25 years. He provides a full range of eye care services, including cataract surgery, LASIK refractive surgery, and glaucoma treatment. Dr. Clune has special surgical interests in laser-assisted cataract surgery with customized refractive outcomes, glaucoma microstent procedures, and management of conditions such as diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma.

Dr. Clune is an active member of the hospital staff at St. John Ascension Health, where he served as ophthalmology department chairman, and is also affiliated with Beaumont Hospital and DMC. He holds academic positions at Wayne State University School of Medicine and Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, assisting in the education of medical students and residents.
