About Me
Dr. Daniel S. Malach is an ophthalmologist who cares for adult and older adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical eye conditions. At Metropolitan Eye Center, in coordination with Corewell Health, he provides routine and urgent eye evaluations, helps patients understand changes in their vision, and offers individualized treatment plans that may include medications, laser procedures, or surgery when needed.
Dr. Malach completed his ophthalmology residency at the Kresge Eye Institute at Wayne State University after an internship at Beaumont Hospital. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and is board certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He values clear communication, taking time during visits to answer questions and review test results so patients can participate confidently in decisions about their care.
