Dr. Michael Diesenhouse

Dr. Michael Diesenhouse is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a specialized focus on cataract surgery. He brings more than 25 years of experience and has performed over 20,000 surgical procedures, establishing him as one of Southern Arizona's preferred cataract surgeons. Dr. Diesenhouse utilizes the latest techniques including laser-assisted surgery, performing procedures at two conveniently located, state-of-the-art eye surgery centers in Tucson.

Dr. Diesenhouse completed his medical education at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, followed by his ophthalmology residency at the same institution. He maintains professional memberships with the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Originally from New York, Dr. Diesenhouse has called Arizona home since 1994.
