Dr. Michael Morris

Dr. Michael Morris is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who provides a full range of adult medical and surgical eye care. His main focus is on cataract surgery, offering advanced lens implant options including Toric lenses for astigmatism, PanOptix Pro Trifocal lenses, and Vivity lenses for extended depth of focus. He also treats conditions such as dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration, and performs minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and eyelid surgeries.

Dr. Morris completed his medical training at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and then his internship and ophthalmology residency at Baylor Scott & White/Texas A&M, where he served as Chief Resident. He became board certified in Ophthalmology in 2012 and is a member of several professional societies including the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Having grown up in Southern Illinois, Dr. Morris is glad to be practicing in the same area. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and participating in medical mission trips.
