About Me
Dr. Matthew C. Santos is a cornea and anterior segment specialist at Penn Medicine’s Scheie Eye Institute. He earned his medical degree from Brown University, completed ophthalmology residency at Washington University in St. Louis, and pursued fellowship training at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Santos treats the full range of corneal disorders, from infections and dystrophies to keratoconus and post-surgical complications. He offers advanced endothelial keratoplasty techniques, collagen cross-linking for progressive ectasia, and thoughtful approaches to complex cataract surgery and secondary intraocular lens issues.
