About Me
Dr. Matthew A. Speicher is a retina specialist and vitreoretinal surgeon at The Retina Care Center. He provides medical and surgical management for a range of vitreoretinal conditions, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, retinal tears and detachments, macular holes and puckers, and ocular trauma. During his vitreoretinal fellowship, Dr. Speicher participated in research that contributed to effective treatments for previously untreatable conditions such as macular degeneration. He has been with the practice since 2003 and continues to be involved in clinical trials seeking improved therapies for common retinal disorders.
Dr. Speicher utilizes the latest surgical techniques to perform less invasive and more effective procedures. He is dedicated to sharing his expertise with residents-in-training and the broader eye care community. Dr. Speicher and his partners host regular educational lectures for referring doctors, promoting early detection, timely treatment, and better visual outcomes for patients.
