About Me
Dr. Mark A. Greiner is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and external eye diseases at UI Health Care. His practice focuses on restoring and preserving vision through advanced treatments for corneal conditions, cataracts, and refractive disorders. Dr. Greiner combines technology, innovation, and compassion to address a wide variety of eye conditions.
As a professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Dr. Greiner treats conditions ranging from routine cataracts and dry eye to complex corneal diseases like keratoconus, Fuchs dystrophy, and corneal trauma. He performs corneal transplantation, laser vision correction, and complex cataract surgery, utilizing techniques such as DALK, DSAEK, and amniotic membrane grafts.
