About Me

Dr. Michael Wagoner is a Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, with clinical appointments at the Veterans Administration Medical Center and University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He has over 30 years of experience in academic clinical practice at Harvard Medical School, King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital, and the University of Iowa.

His clinical research focuses on corneal transplantation, refractive surgery, ocular inflammation and infections, and ocular surface disease.
