About Me
Dr. Linda L. Burk is an ophthalmologist specializing in lens surgery, with extensive experience in cataract surgery and the treatment of glaucoma and corneal disease. She has performed thousands of lens implant procedures and has been instrumental in developing near vision correcting lens implant techniques. She has implanted over 11,000 AcrySof lenses and has been featured on The Operation on TLC.
With over 26 years of experience, Dr. Burk is a clinical professor at UT Southwestern Medical School and has received the 'Champions of the Industry' award. She gives international presentations on glaucoma and cataract treatments. Her practice offers comprehensive eye care, including diabetic eye exams, contact lenses, and glasses. Dr. Burk is one of a few ophthalmologists trained in both glaucoma and cornea disease, and she is a leader in cataract and ReSTOR procedures.
