Dr. Leonid Zlotcavitch

Edwin “Trey” Nunnery, MD, is a fellowship-trained cornea specialist and a board-certified ophthalmologist who focuses on vision correction surgery. His primary specialty is refractive surgery, including all-laser LASIK, EVO Implantable Collamer Lens (EVO ICL), and PRK, with an emphasis on thoughtful planning and attentive care before, during, and after surgery. Dr. Nunnery completed his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia and earned his medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine. He completed ophthalmology residency training at Emory University School of Medicine and then pursued fellowship training in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at Albany Medical Center & Cornea Consultants of Albany. He is known for a personable, detail-oriented approach and for helping patients understand which vision correction option best fits their goals and lifestyle.

Dr. Gagan Sawhney is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery and the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, from early disease through complex cases. He focuses on thorough evaluation and tailored treatment plans that balance long-term vision protection with patients’ day-to-day needs. His clinical expertise includes evaluating patients who are suspicious for glaucoma, performing laser procedures for glaucoma, and managing coexisting cataracts and glaucoma. He also offers a full range of glaucoma surgery, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), trabeculectomy, and glaucoma drainage device implantation, selecting the approach that best matches a patient’s anatomy and goals. Dr. Sawhney completed his medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine and completed both ophthalmology residency and glaucoma fellowship training at the Emory Eye Center.

Dr. Nancy Huynh is an ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care and performs small-incision cataract surgery. She is committed to compassionate, patient-centered care and believes in partnering with patients through clear education and shared decision-making so they understand their diagnosis and options. Originally from Los Angeles, Dr. Huynh completed her undergraduate studies in biochemistry and biophysics at Yale University before earning her medical degree at Harvard Medical School. She then completed ophthalmology residency training at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School and pursued additional fellowship training in ophthalmic genetics at the National Eye Institute, National Institutes of Health. Dr. Huynh joined Kaiser Permanente to practice in an integrated, team-based environment focused on high-quality care across a wide range of eye conditions. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active and spending time reading, cooking, traveling, dancing, and running.
