Meet Dr. Eric Jennings
About Me
Dr. Eric Jennings is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and the management of corneal and external eye disease. He works with patients to match treatment options to their vision goals, with an emphasis on clear communication and modern surgical techniques.
Dr. Jennings graduated with honors from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed ophthalmology residency training and a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at the University of Florida Shands Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident and received awards including Resident of the Year and Teaching Scholars Outstanding Educator. His clinical interests include femtosecond laser cataract surgery, LASIK and PRK, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and partial corneal transplantation such as DMEK and DSEK.
