Dr. Kristen Ann Mendoza

Dr. Kristen Ann V. Mendoza is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and glaucoma surgery. She enjoys working with patients to match treatment to lifestyle—whether that’s planning cataract surgery, optimizing glaucoma drops, or discussing laser and surgical options when medications aren’t enough. With experience as a chief resident and assistant professor, she brings a teaching mindset to each visit and ensures patients leave with a clear plan.

Dr. Mendoza completed medical school and ophthalmology residency at The Ohio State University, serving as Chief Resident at the Havener Eye Institute, followed by a glaucoma fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. She also completed a transitional-year internship at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. She remains active in research and has presented nationally on the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma.
