About Me
Dr. Sayoko Moroi is an ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical care and surgical management of glaucoma. She also treats patients with complex cataracts, unusually small eyes, and complications after surgery. Her approach involves discussing eye diseases and conditions with patients, explaining the value of tests and procedures, and presenting treatment options to decide on a care plan that considers the stage of disease, lifestyle, cost, and potential side effects.
Dr. Moroi is a professor and chair of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at The Ohio State University. She focuses on providing individualized care and helping patients preserve vision. She returned to Ohio State to lead the department and serve the community.
