About Me
Dr. Kathryn Hatch is an accomplished corneal and refractive surgeon at Mass Eye and Ear, where she serves as the Director of the Refractive Surgery Service. She is also an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. Her clinical expertise includes laser vision correction, advanced cataract surgery, and corneal cross-linking for keratoconus and post-refractive ectasia.
Dr. Hatch is a key opinion leader in the treatment of keratoconus and is recognized as one of the busiest corneal cross-linking specialists in the United States. She has been performing the procedure since 2011 as an investigator in clinical trials and was the first at Mass Eye and Ear to perform FDA-approved cross-linking. Her surgical repertoire also includes the treatment of ocular surface disease, corneal dystrophies, and cutting-edge corneal transplantation surgery.
