About Me
Dr. Charles Barsam is an ophthalmologist at North Suburban Eye Associates in Waltham, Massachusetts. He provides care for a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and corneal disorders. He also specializes in refractive surgery and cosmetic eye procedures. Dr. Barsam is a third-generation physician dedicated to delivering high-quality eye care.
Dr. Barsam earned his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Harvard's Mount Auburn Hospital and an ophthalmology residency at the University of California, Irvine. He then pursued a fellowship in corneal and refractive surgery at the Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah. He has authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters and remains involved in teaching.
