Dr. Kartik Patel

Dr. Kartik Patel is a board-certified, fellowship-trained vitreo-retinal surgeon at The Retina Clinic in Mine Hill, New Jersey. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of medical and surgical diseases affecting the retina, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachments. Dr. Patel is committed to providing personalized care, taking time to help patients understand their diagnostic imaging and treatment progress. He stays current with technological advances in ophthalmology to offer the latest techniques to his patients.

Dr. Patel completed his medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and his residency in ophthalmology at Nassau University Medical Center and Stony Brook University Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. He then pursued fellowship training in retina and vitreous surgery at the University of Texas.
