Dr. Vinod Voleti

Dr. Vinod Voleti is a retina specialist and vitreoretinal surgeon who joined NJRetina in 2013. He provides comprehensive care for retinal conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal detachment. His clinical approach incorporates the latest surgical techniques, including vitrectomy and laser procedures, and he is actively involved in clinical trials for new treatments.

Dr. Voleti earned his medical degree from Columbia University and completed his ophthalmology residency at the same institution, where he served as chief resident. He then pursued advanced training through a vitreoretinal fellowship at the Jules Stein Eye Institute. His research interests include retinal vascular diseases and novel vitrectomy techniques, and he has presented his work at national meetings.

Committed to education and advocacy, Dr. Voleti teaches future ophthalmologists and serves on the board of patient and medical doctor advocacy groups. He values a holistic perspective on healthcare, informed by his additional MBA in Health Systems Administration.
