Dr. Vinnie Shah is a board-certified ophthalmologist with subspecialty training and expertise in diseases of the retina. She provides comprehensive eye care, including laser treatments and intravitreal injections for conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vein occlusions. Dr. Shah is dedicated to delivering the most up-to-date ophthalmologic care to her patients.

Before joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. Shah worked as an Attending Ophthalmologist and Medical Retina Specialist in Fairfield, Connecticut. She completed her ophthalmology residency at UMDNJ-Rutgers and then served as a Clinical Instructor and Attending Ophthalmologist at New York University. She further pursued a medical retina fellowship at Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital, training under renowned retina specialists.

Dr. Shah is an active researcher and has authored several publications in peer-reviewed journals. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists. In her free time, she enjoys ballet dancing and cycling, and she is the proud parent of two sons.
