About Me

Dr. Karima S. Khimani is a board-certified ophthalmologist and corneal specialist who returned home to San Antonio to provide advanced medical and surgical eye care. Her expertise includes premium cataract surgery, refractive procedures such as LASIK, PRK, and ICL, and the full spectrum of corneal transplantation—DMEK, DSAEK, PKP, and DALK—as well as pterygium removal and Boston Keratoprosthesis.

In addition to surgery, Dr. Khimani manages dry eye disease, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, ocular surface injuries, and corneal dystrophies.
