Jonathan P. Greenberg, MBBCh, is a retina specialist and vitreoretinal surgeon. He earned his medical degree at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, followed by a three-year research fellowship in retinal disease at Columbia University. He completed ophthalmology residency at Northwell Health and a surgical fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Greenberg cares for the full spectrum of retinal conditions, from age-related macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease to retinal detachment and macular holes. He also has expertise in diagnosing and treating intraocular tumors, including performing plaque brachytherapy for ocular melanoma.
