Dr. Jonathan Ellant

Dr. Jonathan Ellant is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cataract and refractive surgeon who specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology. He believes in listening to his patients to provide the best medical and surgical care possible. With training as a corneal specialist, Dr. Ellant performs cataract and LASIK surgeries, utilizing the most advanced technologies to deliver optimal vision outcomes.

Dr. Ellant is an early adopter of microinvasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS) and was the first surgeon at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary to implant an iStent for glaucoma. He treats a wide range of eye conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, and pterygium, and offers procedures such as LASIK, PRK, and comprehensive eye exams.
