Dr. John Dick

Dr. John S. B. Dick is a board-certified ophthalmologist and experienced vitreo-retinal surgeon who has been practicing in Hawaii since 1986. He recently joined the Eye Center of Hawaii after serving for 14 years as the senior retina specialist for Kaiser Permanente in San Diego, California.

Dr. Dick completed a fellowship in Retinal Vascular Disease and Vitreo-Retinal Surgery at the Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute of Johns Hopkins University. He provides special expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of sight-threatening eye conditions, with particular emphasis on diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration.

Dr. Dick is dedicated to preserving the eyesight of his patients on the Big Island and is grateful for the opportunity to return to Hawaii to continue his work.
